Welcome to the Site

My name is Dhanoos Sutthiphisal. (Dh=T in Sanskrit. So, it is actually pronounced as Ta-nud Sud-ti-pi-san.) But, you should just call me Dee!

I am an assistant professor of economics at McGill University. My fields of interests are economic history, industrial organization as well as economic development, technological change and growth.

In the 2005-06 academic year, I teach Econ 257D2 (aka introductory econometrics for honors students) and Econ 665B (aka applied econometrics for masters students). I am also an honors advisor. Please see current courses and advising in the teaching section for further information on the courses and my office hours.

RA Employment and Graduate Admission

Please do not contact me for employment or graduate admission. I am not looking for a new research assistant nor am I in the McGill Economics graduate admission committee.
